Dr. Dana Abramovitz is passionate about working in and helping startups. She first realized this by being a founding member of her thesis advisor’s lab at Columbia University, where she received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics and then by working at Ingenuity Systems, which was a startup when she joined in 2001. She also co-­‐founded her own video game company, GameTank, whose game was sold to Ubisoft and is now on the market as Rocksmith. Dana went to business school at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, earning a Master’s in Management.
